Hi, I’m Ryan Olson.

I’m also just a regular guy who cares deeply about faith, family, and the place we all call home—South Fulton. I've often felt compelled to serve others and help build the community or contribute to society. Living by leading and leading by example. Whether entertaining those on the big screens, working towards health goals and fitness, building confidence in others so they may pursue their dreams, or just being a good neighbor and a good human. Every detail matters along with a common goal- do your best. 

I’ve always been someone who steps up. Running free fitness classes in my neighborhood, lending a hand to those in need, or taking hits as a stuntman in Georgia’s film industry—action is part of who I am. Let’s just say I’ve been beat up a few times, but I’ve always gotten back up. And I know many of us here in South Fulton have had to do the same.

I understand what it’s like to deal with the frustrations of local government, to want safer neighborhoods, better services, and real accountability. I’ve lived it too. That’s why I’m running for Mayor—not to play politics, but to serve people.

I’m here to listen, to stand up for you, and to help bring positive change where it matters most. I believe we deserve better—and I’d be honored to represent you and work with you to do better.

I bring real-world experience that directly aligns with the responsibilities of city leadership:

• Over 10 years in Georgia’s film industry as a professional stuntman
  As a member of SAG-AFTRA, I’ve been involved in union contract votes and meetings, advocating for fair treatment, safety, and representation. Georgia’s film industry has become a major driver of our state’s economy, and my firsthand experience gives me a unique understanding of how industry, labor, and government policy intersect to create jobs and opportunities for residents. 

• Entrepreneur and past business owner
  As a longtime small business owner, I know what it means to work hard, solve problems, and support your community. I've built a business from the ground up, served diverse clients, and operated with integrity—all while navigating the challenges many local entrepreneurs face. I understand the importance of economic development and how to advocate for small business success.
   
• Background in nonprofit community service
  In the past, I’ve worked in the nonprofit sector providing health and wellness services to families and individuals of all backgrounds. This work taught me how to listen, collaborate, and build programs that serve the public good.
   
• Working with kids and youth development
  Throughout my career, I’ve worked closely with kids and teens—through my business and nonprofit roles—helping guide them toward healthier lives, stronger character, and leadership potential. I believe our city must do more to invest in the next generation, because their future is our future.

South Fulton deserves leadership that doesn’t sit behind closed doors. I believe in being visible, involved, and open with the community. I will work side-by-side with City Council and city employees to rebuild trust and deliver real results. 

My priorities include:

• Making City Hall more responsive, efficient, and community-driven
   
• Supporting small businesses and job creation
   
• Improving transparency and access in local government
   
• Prioritizing public safety and neighborhood services
   
• Expanding opportunities for youth and education
   

I believe leadership is earned by showing up, listening, and taking action. I’ve built a life rooted in service, hard work, and integrity—and I’m ready to bring that same commitment to the Mayor’s Office.

Together, we can build a stronger, safer, more united South Fulton—one where every resident has a voice, and every neighborhood has a future.
